As
its name suggests, Recon
Hybrid is plettac’s
name for a reconnaissance
application that may
require aspects of other
products to be combined
for the desired solution.
The source of these
required objects may
come from plettac's
other products, its
Phoenix engine objects,
bespoke development
or third party vendor
supplied material. With
the extensive experience
in developing applications
and the power of the
Phoenix engine, plettac can develop Recon
Hybrid efficiently and
cost effectively.
To
illustrate the concept,
two examples have been
laid out below. The
first is an example
requirement where aspects
of Recon Elect and Recon
Trip are combined to
form a third application.
Suppose a requirement
arose for a system that
not only records information,
say, based on a trigger
from a road loop or
motion detection, but
also requires information
to be recorded retrospectively
when the trigger is
tripped. The diagram
in example 1 shows the
elements of the system
that are common and
the elements that are
unique and must be combined
to make the desired
solution.
Example
1.
Combination
of Recon Elect and Recon
Trip:
Recon
Elect

Recon
Trip

The
hybrid can easily combine
these requirements into
the desired result:

The
second example is a
requirement where aspects
of Recon Elect, Recon
Trip and Recon ANPR
are combined to form
a third application.
Suppose a requirement
arose for a system that
not only records information,
say, based on a trigger
from a road loop or
motion detection, but
also requires information
to be recorded retrospectively
when the trigger is
tripped but does not
need captured material
containing certain vehicles.
The diagram in example
2 shows the elements
of the system that are
common and the elements
that are unique and
must be combined to
make the desired solution.
Example
2.
Combination
of Recon Elect, Recon
Trip and Recon ANPR:
Recon
Elect

Recon
Trip

Recon
ANPR

The
hybrid can easily combine
these requirements into
the desired result:

More
information can be gathered
on many of the processing
objects available by
reading more about the
Phoenix engine from
plettac. There are
very few restrictions
on object interaction
and number of processing
objects being used.
